Makalu
(8463m.) was first climbed by a French party in 1955.
is the world's 5th highest mountain at 8,463m. Situated
between Everest and Kanchanjunga, on the Nepali-Tibetan
border. The peak was first mapped and photographed from
the Tibetan side by the 1921 British Everest reconnaissance.
It is an isolated peak, located just 14 miles east of

Cho
Oyu, the sixth highest mountain in the world, has only
recently become a popular mountain to climb. It is known
to be one of the easer of the world's fourteen 8,000 meter
mountain. Cho Oyu sits on both sides of the border of
Nepal and Tibet, about 30 km. west of Mount Everest. It
is the sixth highest mountain in the world (8201 meters).
Cho Oyu is translated in Tibetan as "the goddess
of the turquoise." The south face of Cho Oyu, facing
Nepal, is quite steep and difficult, and is rarely climbed.

Kanchenjunga
is the third-tallest mountain in the world after Mt. Everest
and Mt. K2. Kanchenjunga is situated in eastern part of
Nepal at 8598m. It was first climbed by a British team
in 1956. It is an enormous mountain mass, and many satellite
peaks rise from its narrow icy ridges. It is located on
the border of Nepal and Sikkim, just 46 miles northwest
of Darjeeling. It is the most easterly of the great 8,000
meter peaks of the Himalaya. The peak consists of four

Dhaulagiri
is one of the most popular 8000 m. peak in Nepal Which
is the seventh highest mountain in the world. Dhaulagiri
expedition offers a nice trek of Dhaulagiri circuit in
Annapurna region.The Seventh Highest Mountain on Earth
Dahuligiri 8167 m. was first sighted by the British India
Survey team but unknown virtually till 1960. The Swiss
team made first successful climbing to the peak by K.
Diemberger and friends. It is taken as the most interesting.

Ama
Dablam is a beautiful mountain, located almost due south
of Everest and Lhotse in the Khumbu region. Actually Ama
Dablam means " The mother mountain" so it's
also regarded as mother mountain and female. It stands
among many 22,000 to 24,000 foot peaks that surround the
high valleys of this region, yet standsout by way of its
classic beauty: It is a steep pyramid of ice with vertical
walls and sharp, exposed ridges. Ama Dablam forms a lasting

Annapurna
is a Sanskrit word which when broken down, would mean,
"Sustenance" and "filled with". So
the name would translate into "The Goddess rich in
Sustenance" or simply "The Provider". It
was first climbed by M. Herzog & L. Lachenal in 1950.
The Annapurna Himal and the Lamjung Himal stretch from
the Kali Gandaki in the west to the Marshyangdi in the

“Nuptse” is situated in the Khumbu Himal just
south-west of Mount Everest. Nuptse I (7855m) was first
sumited by a British expedition on the north-ridge (Scott-route)
on May 16, 1961 by Dennis Davis and Sherpa Tashi. Nuptse
shares in the glory of the Everest Massif and is the southern
border of the Western Cwm Viewed from the Thangboche Monastery

One
of the good-looking trekking route in Annapurna Area,
"Mardi Himal" is truly adventurous for trekking
peak climbing which lies less than 15 miles from Pokhara
and is the most southerly peak of the Annapurna range.
It is the lowest and the least climbed or visited peak.

Gyachung
Kang is a high mountain of the Khumbu region. It is the
highest peak between Mount Everest and Cho Oyu. Its twin
snow and rock peaks tower above the immediate surroundings,
